We were thinking of making Lake Powell our next vacation spot (Aug 22-29).
Q: Could you please help answer a few questions (or) Refer us to someone that could?
We thought about taking a Jetski and towing a small aluminum boat with our camp gear in it. This way we could find different beaches to camp on while exploring a larger area vs. returning back to the same camp spot each day.
1. Is there any restritions on Jetskis or camping on beaches.
2. During Aug 22-29, is it too hot at night to sleep (80+) (or) too humid? if so, is there cooler places to explore at lake Powell further north?
* We live in Bullhead City, Az. and can handle hot days, as long as we can sleep at night.
3. Where would be the best place to start from and the "must see" places to adventure to.
4. How far can we travel by waverunner, before hitting a barrier eg: dam, rapids/drop-off.
