We are seeking 4 - 5 partners to purchase a
35 - 45' houseboat (and associated toys) for
a fractional-ownership houseboat partnership.
The commercial time-share houseboats that are advertised
* have pretty high annual maintenance fees
* are typically much bigger and luxurious than what we need
* the owners are locked into specific usage week(s)
* are not available for more than one prime season week
* typically do not include the "toys"
Included in the shared ownership would be "toys" (kayak,
a PWC, etc.) that would stay with the houseboat.
Annual storage, insurance, and maintenance/repair costs would
be shared among the partners. Launch/retrieval
fees would be the individual responsibility of each
owner. The owners would control decisions regarding
the houseboat via votes (e.g., no management company
and associated fees).
